Meganet Communications Setup Part 2

6. Double Click on the My Computer Icon

7. Double Click on the Dial-up Networking Icon

8. Double Click on the Make New Connection Icon

9. Enter Meganet as the computer you are dialing, the click next.

10. Enter the local phone number for meganet in your area, for a listing of numbers
click here , Once this is entered press Next.

11. You've successfully created a Meganet Dialer now, press finish.

12. There will be an icon now in the Dial-up Networking window called Meganet, right click on it, and
then click properties.

13. On the General tab make sure the phone number is correct. Then Click the Server Types Tab at the top.

14. On the Server Types Tab, make sure Enable Software Compression, and TCP/IP are the only 2 options checked. Then Click the TCP/IP Settings Button in the lower right.

15. Make Sure Server Assigned IP address and Server Assigned Name Server Addresses are
checked, and the bottom 2 options, Use IP Header compression, and Use Default gateway on remote network are checked. Then Click OK on this window, and the next window.

Your Setup is Complete, you can create a shortcut on the desktop for the dial-up networking connection for easier use in the future. Thanks for Choosing Meganet!
